Cleansers aren't meant to be drying and stripping, which is why I've been enjoying using this cream cleanser for my dry and acne prone skin.
I've been primarily using this as the first step in my nighttime routine to help remove my makeup, and it's been very gentle yet very effective. I will say I'm not a heavy makeup user (mascara, brows, concealer, and lip are about as far as I go) but this works beautifully to remove everything. I do always follow with a second cleanse, regardless of what I use for my first cleanser, so I can't speak for this being used all on its own. I did use this once in the morning (I typically just opt for water in the morning - much kinder on my skin than cleansing twice a day) after I had used an overnight treatment, and it was really calming and helped removed the previous nights leftovers.
If you're battling inflamed, dry, irritated skin, I would highly recommend looking at your cleansing habits. A cream cleanser such as this one may be a huge help for you in replacing drying, stripping cleansers.
My Skin Type: dry
AFTER 15 DAYS
I reach for this pretty often, and cycle it through with another creamy cleanser that I have. Lovely at removing a standard amount of makeup (if you do a full full face of makeup this is probably not going to be enough - but would be great after your first wipe/oil cleanse to remove any leftover residue). Overall a great, calming, hydrating cleanser that I would recommend to someone looking to be gentler with their skin.
