First Impressions
This cleanser is refreshing and gentle and is effective at washing away oils and makeup—without leaving my skin feeling stripped or irritated. I lather this up with a little warm water and rinse it using a soft washcloth. I use one pump to cleanse away my face makeup, and an extra pump to take away my eyeliner and mascara— liquid eyeliner can be stubborn but this does work it away in a gentle manner.
I have sensitive skin and struggle with Perioral Dermatitis and so am very picky when it comes to skincare. This doesn’t flare up my skin but rather soothes it instead. It contains calming ingredients such as aloe vera, calendula, chamomile and yarrow, which work to heal and nourish irritated skin. Yarrow is especially useful as an anti-inflammatory for skin, reducing redness or swelling, great for those suffering from rosacea, eczema, or any form or dermatitis. The essential oils included, such as lavender and geranium have anti-aging properties as well.
Scent:
The scent reminds me a little of the Mist-On Toner Vitamin Spray, but a little more subtle. It isn’t pungent or irritating and smells natural. It doesn’t leave a scent on my skin, which I appreciate.
Overall Experience:
I love this mini-size, great for travel or as a stocking stuffer, and it lasts a long time, since such a little bit is needed! It is gentle and effective, and with the skin-loving ingredients, I’ve been keeping this is my skincare routine. Ecco Bella is one of the only natural skincare lines I can find that offers smaller sizes to try, which I appreciate so much because it offers me a chance to decide whether or not I’ll fall in love with the product and want to commit to a full size. I wish all brands offered this!! And yes, I’ll be purchasing the full size once this runs out.
